Congratulations to our Yr3/4 Cross Country runners for their fantastic performance at the Burnley School Sport Partnership Race in Towneley Park! It was great to see amazing sportsmanship by team mates helping each other. Special mention to SP for his 1st place finish and AV for her 2nd place finish ! This morning, 4 of our Year 5/6 boys proudly represented our school and Burnley at the Lancashire School Games! They took part in skateboarding, scootering, and BMX activities. Well done to the boys for an amazing morning! A big thank you to Burnley School Sport Partnership for this fantastic opportunity. We are so proud of you!

🌍✨ Exciting news from our Eco Council! We have collected all those pesky pens that no longer work, and we’ve organised a fantastic opportunity to recycle them! ♻️ A company will be sending us a free postage stamp to ensure all our pens are disposed of responsibly. Let’s do our part for the planet and keep our school eco-friendly!

Year 3 brought their science and art topics from class to life at Forest School! They explored our school grounds to create their own Japanese “Oshibana” artwork by pressing flowers. It was wonderful to see the children working together and showing their creativity. Well done, Year 3!

Well done to our Year 3/4 children who represented school in their first ever rounders match! It was a closely contested game played with amazing sportsmanship and respect. The match finished with a thrilling 19-17 win for Lowerhouse!
