    • Dynamo Cricket Success for Lowerhouse Red and Lowerhouse Blue

      Well done to Lowerhouse Red and Lowerhouse Blue for a busy day of cricket at the Burnley School Sport Partnership Competition at Lowerhouse Cricket Club! 🏏 Lowerhouse Red showed their skills by winning all their matches and finishing 1st and will progress to the county finals on 7th July! A big shoutout to Lowerhouse Blue for their great effort, finishing in a great 4th place! Thank you to all the parents who came to support our teams!

      What a great afternoon for our Sports Day! 🌟 All the children took part in a range of activities, earning points for their teams. πŸ† We can’t wait to reveal the winning teams in celebration assembly and give out medals and the trophy for the top house!       Year 6 have started their London trip with a busy day so far! 🚀 They enjoyed a boat ride on the River Thames and saw amazing views from The London Eye. 🎑The day continued as they explored London, spotting sights like The King’s Guard, the red phone boxes, and Downing Street. They also had a nice walk in St. James's Park! 🌳 What a great way to learn about our capital! Stay tuned for more updates!

    • Johnson Trophy Final for Football Stars

      Well done to our amazing football team for their fantastic performance in the Burnley School Sport Partnership Johnson Trophy Final! ⚽ The match ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, leading to a tense penalty shootout. Although we just missed out, the team demonstrated our value of “respect” throughout the match, congratulating the winning team with true sportsmanship. A huge thank you to Mr Pope, Mr O’Brien, and Mr Cosgrove for all their hard work with the boys, and to our supportive families for cheering them on!

      What an amazing way to finish the half term with our Colour Run, raising funds to support Pendleside Hospice and all their incredible work in the community! 🌈 A massive thank you to all our children and staff who got involved and embraced the fun, getting covered in paint to help raise money.
