    Netball Skills Festival (29th April 2025)

    Year 5/6 Netball Squad Thrives at Skills Event! 🏐

    Some of our Year 5/6 Netball Squad had a brilliant time at the Burnley School Sport Partnership Netball Skills event! The girls took part in activities and netball games, improving their skills while working together as a team. A big thank you to Miss Baxendale and Mrs Sutcliffe for making this opportunity possible!

     

    Girls Cricket Festival (29th April 2025)

    Girls Cricket Festival at Lowerhouse Cricket Club! 🏏

    A big thank you to Burnley School Sport Partnership and Lowerhouse Cricket Club for an amazing Girls Cricket Festival today! The girls had a fantastic time with fielding, bowling, and batting activities. Thanks to all the coaches and volunteers for your support!

     

    Year 3 & Year 4 Football Fixtures (27th March 2025)

    Congratulations to our Yr3/4 football team for an exciting start to the season! They played brilliantly, winning 4-0 and putting up a strong fight in a close 2-1 defeat. Thank you to Mr Cosgrove for organising the team and matches, and a special thanks to all the parents for your support!

    High 5 Netball v Padiham Green (21st March 2025)

    Congratulations to our Year 6 High 5 Netball team on their amazing 16-3 victory against Padiham Green! A big thank you to Miss Sutcliffe and Miss Baxendale for organising the match, and to all the parents for their fantastic support! Keep it up, girls!

    Year 3 & Year 4 Girls Football Fixtures (20th March 2025)

    Huge shoutout to our Yr3/4 girls who played brilliantly in their first matches of the year! They showed our value of "aspiration" in two close games against Padiham Green and Christ the King. Massive thank you to Mr Cosgrove and all the parents for the support! Keep it up, girls!

    Year 5 & Year 6 Football Johnson Trophy Quarter Final v Holy Trinity (13th March 2025)

    Congratulations to our Year 5/6 football team for an incredible 10-3 win against Holy Trinity in the Quarter-Finals! Thank you, Mr Cosgrove, for making this opportunity happen. Keep it up, boys! Good luck in the semi-finals!

    Burnley Sportshall Athletics FINALS (27th February 2025)

    A huge well done to our incredible Y5/6 Sports Hall Athletics Team. An incredible performance on to come 4th across the whole of Burnley. A shout out to Ela for stepping into the team at the last minute and to Mrs Sutcliffe and Mr Cosgrove for their support and encouragement. Finally, a big thank you to the parents and carers who came to support 

    Year 5 & Year 6 Tag Rugby Festival (25th February 2025)

    A huge congratulations to our Yr5/6 Tag Rugby Team for securing 2nd place at the Burnley competition at Unity College! They played brilliantly, achieving 6 wins and just one defeat. They showed our values of aspiration and respect throughout their games. Keep it up!

    Year 5 & Year 6 Girls Football v Padiham Green (13th February 2025)

    Congratulations to our Year 5/6 Girls Football team for an outstanding start to the season! They controlled their first game with a fantastic 3-0 win, thanks to two goals from HM and a penalty by MP. A huge thank you to Miss Sutcliffe for her amazing support!

    Year 3 Sportshall Athletics (11th February 2025)

    Congratulations to our Yr3 Sportshall Athletics team for finishing in an amazing 2nd place in their competition today at Unity College! They showed outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship in every event, showing our school values. A big thank you to everyone who supported them!

    Year 5 & Year 6 Sportshall Athletics FINALS (4th February 2025)

    We are incredibly proud of our Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics team! Their resilience shone through as they won their competition at Unity College today! They will now go on to the Burnley finals soon. A huge thank you to Mr Cosgrove for his fantastic support and encouragement!
