In PSHE today, red bubble talked about the positives and negatives of lockdown. They recorded their ideas in and around a 'thinking cap'. In the afternoon, they continued to create poster's to welcome the year 2's to Lowerhouse.

Today, red bubble have made paper plate dream catchers. They look great!
Wednesday 8th July 2020
Today, red bubble created fact files about their favourite jungle animals. They used the internet to research interesting facts! After that, they practiced coding on lightbot.

Today, red group made poster about their favourite sport, then took part in a wide range of sporting activities. We had a fantastic time!

Red bubble are preparing to write their own Explorer's Log in English, so today we designed and painted jungle scenes.

Today, the red bubble worked hard on their Explorer's Log in English, ready to write a diary entry next week. We talked again about Martin Luther King and completed a fact file all about his life.

Today the children in red bubble have been learning about Martin Luther King. The children wrote their own 'I had a dream' speech.

Today, red bubble worked hard all morning on their English and Maths. In the afternoon we practiced our computer coding and continued work on our welcome pack.

Today in red bubble, we started our welcome pack for the new Year 3 children. We designed a poster about our favourite subject.

Today we started with some yoga, went on a bug hunt then created some still life drawings based on these.

Today, the children used watered down paints to create silhouette art inspired by the Savannah.

Today, red bubble created portraits using natural resources we gathered around school. We also started to make a 3D sunshine to hang up around our classroom.
Tuesday 23rd June 2020
Red bubble worked hard on their Maths and English in the morning. In the afternoon, we created our own acrostic poems on kindness and saying thank you to all key workers. We also used our hands to paint pictures of trees.
Monday 22nd June 2020
Today, we talked about our thoughts and feelings, then created an emotions wheel using paper plates. We completed a short emotions quiz and made some being kind paper chains.
